Pilates is a potent exercise modality, but what makes it effective is not what it is, but how it is done. Hence, personalization and deep understanding of the transformative effects of Pilates is key for results. Acute observation skills are essential. Proper alignment and sound bio-mechanics in movement are key. If one is not in proper alignment when performing their exercises, then they are strengthening a misalignment. Clients are guided through appropriate exercises performed in appropriate ways.
